autofs not connecting to LDAP.

hi,

I'm having a problem getting autofs (debian system) to connect to
the LDAP server. I am watching the log file, and no querys seem to get
through.

In my nsswitch.conf I have:

automount:     files ldap
#auto.home:     ldap

I have autofs and autofs-ldap installed. It work fine if I use auto.master AND
auto auto.host files:

auto.master looks like:
#/home ldap robson:ou=auto.home,dc=mydomain,dc=com
/home   /etc/auto.home

auto.home looks like:
*  -fstype=nfs,soft,intr,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,nosuid  robson:/home/&

In the auto.master you can see the line I was using for LDAP.
