RE: Very Basic Question

Thanks to all that are offering advice.

I have searched for slapd and slurpd to no avail. I have also run the rpm
-ql, which was suggested. I have posted the output for these commands here.
I have also searched /bin, /sbin, /usr/bin, /usr/sbin, /usr/local/bin, and
/usr/local/sbin by hand.

slapd and slurpd are in /usr/sbin/

The startup script, ldap, is in /etc/init.d

using 'rpm -ql package-name' will print out a list of locations of files
installed by the RPM. That might help with these sorts of things in the
future.
