Help with dcObject

Updating to 2.1.17 from 2.0.25...

Installed 2.1 in a new tree, converted the 2.0 data to add missing
objectclasses, battled through various differences (ucdata etc), and now
trying to slapadd the old data.

  slapadd: dn="dc=au,dc=cordoors,dc=com" (line=9): (65) no structural object class provided

Here it is (the very first entry - also the suffix):

  dn: dc=au,dc=cordoors,dc=com
  objectclass: dcObject
  objectclass: top
  dc: au
  creatorsname: cn=CIHoncho,dc=cordoors,dc=com
  modifytimestamp: 20030214022630Z
  modifiersname: cn=CIHoncho,dc=cordoors,dc=com
  createtimestamp: 20020613065220Z

Swapped the objectclass lines around, in case there was an implicit
order, and no.

I note, worryingly, that the supplied test scripts in 2.1.17 do not
test for dcObject at all...

I'm obviously missing something, in both senses; what it it?
