LDAP data load issues

I seem to be running into a strange problem with Openldap 2.1.16 
installation on Solaris 8:

slapadd: dn="comCaseroLabel=Process list,dc=casero,dc=com" (line=6): (16) 
value of naming attribute 'comCaseroLabel' is not present in entry

The schema is loaded by slpad as per the debug statement:

reading config file /opt/csw/etc/openldap/schema/nexus.schema
line 56 (attributeType ( 1.3.6.1.4.1.16200.1.1.1 NAME 'comCaseroLabel'  DESC 
'Terse human-readable description of object'  SYNTAX 
1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.15  SINGLE-VALUE ))

The data load works fine on Linux however the same is not the case on the 
Solaris installation.

Any help is much appreciated..
