Re: ldap intro
you will need to modify the slapd.conf
I think the default file for rh 8.0 puts
rootpw {CRYPT}somepassword
instead of secret

Hi,
Upon reading the admin guide for v2.0 (version bundled
with RH 8), I execute;
ldapadd -x -D "cn=Manager,dc=example,dc=com -w secret
-f example.ldif
I get ldap_bind: Invalid credentals.
I left everything default as I want to learn to use it
before I mod it.
I didn't include attachemnts of my slapd.conf or ldif
files as everything is default.
