Segmentation Fault with SASL DIGEST-MD5 authentication
Dear all:
OpenLDAP 2.1.17
Cyrus SASL 2.1.13
I tried to configure my openldap to use SASL
DIGEST-MD5 authentication. slapd.conf includes the
following:
require LDAPv3 bind authc strong
sasl-regexp
"uid=(.*),cn=example.com,cn=digest-md5,cn=auth"
"ldap://127.0.0.1/dc=example,dc=com??sub?uid=$1"
A user has been added to /etc/sasldb2 via saslpasswd2
command:
saslpasswd2 -u example.com -c user
Now when I run:
ldapsearch -d100 -U user@example.com -b
'dc=example,dc=com' -h localhost 'uid=user'
I got:
request 1 done
SASL/DIGEST-MD5 authentication started
request 2 done
Segmentation fault
The slapd is *still* running. Now if I simply run
ldapsearch -D 'cn=Manager,dc=example,dc=com' -b
'dc=example,dc=com' -x -h localhost -W 'uid=user'
(after supplying the password) I got the search
results.
Please help!
Thanks
Chee Wai
