Hi All,
I am new to Openldap.
I have installed Openldap2.1.16 with the procedure given in the site.
I have successfully completed the testing with the default enteries.
I have to create a Directory in the following format.
company name
organisational unit1
employee1
employee id
employee name
employee email id
employee2
employee id
employee name
employee email id
organisational unit2
employee3
employee id
employee name
employee email id
employee4
employee id
employee name
employee email id
In the above directory structure the "company name" is top level.
The "organisational unit" refers to the sub groups or divisions in the
company.
The "employee" refers to the employees in each organisational unit. Each
employee contains the details such as id, name, email id.
I have tried creating schema and conf file. But its giving some errors.
I am working on it for the past two weeks, but I couldn't get the
correct solution. So I am in need of your help in creating the schema,
conf, ldif files. I am using Berkeley DB 4.1.
Kindly send me your suggestions on how to write the schema for the
above directory and corresponding ldif file.
Thanks in advance.
Awaiting for valuable suggestions.
Regards
Balendran
