Schema library?

Is there a library of available schemas that are on the internet somewhere?
I was hoping we could get by without creating our own objectclasses, but it
looks like we may need to extend our schema.

Is there any common schema for handling users/groups/permissions?  It
doesn't look that hard to extend it, but I don't want to re-invent the
wheel if I'm just not looking in the right place.
