Could the /etc/hosts,/etc/profile,/etc/bashrc shared by ldap clients?

I just want all the machines to have identical
configuration . If I could use ldap to make it, that
will be really great. I noticed that when I do the
migration, all files are migrated to the ldap
database. So the server has the information. The thing
is how to make the clients look for it.
Anybody got idea?
