problem with SASL

Hi,
I am new to openLdap. I am trying to configure SASL with OpenLDAP under
cygwin, but facing some problems.

I get the following error message:
checking for sasl/sasl.h... yes
checking for sasl.h... yes
checking for sasl_client_init in -lsasl2... no
checking for sasl_client_init in -lsasl... no
configure: error: Could not locate Cyrus SASL

and my config.log file has following entries:

I am setting  on cygwin

Any idea what am i missing or doing wrong???????????????????
