Re: configure telnet ,ssh for ldap server - please help
Having done that here (well, all but the telnet bit), I highly recommend
the guide:

Its Red Hat specific (although he and I would probably recommend 7.2 or
7.3). I've seen a ton of people struggling to get SSL working with
openldap on the list, and I followed this guide basically verbatim. For
added pain, we're also a kerberos site, and he covers that.
