Has anyone succeeded in compiling openldap 2.1.8 on Debian-sid (x86)? I've mucked around a bit, trying to get it to work but I've been unable to get it to compile. The error I'm running into is: daemon.o(.text+0xcb2): In function `slap_open_listener': /home/mort/src/cupe/openldap-2.1.8/servers/slapd/daemon.c:691: `sys_errlist' is deprecated; use `strerror' or `strerror_r' instead daemon.o(.text+0xca9):/home/mort/src/cupe/openldap-2.1.8/servers/slapd/daemon.c:691: `sys_nerr' is deprecated; use `strerror' or `strerror_r' instead /usr/lib/libsasl.a(db_berkeley.o)(.text+0x76): In function `berkeleydb_open': : undefined reference to `db_open' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [slapd] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/mort/src/cupe/openldap-2.1.8/servers/slapd' make[1]: *** [all-common] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mort/src/cupe/openldap-2.1.8/servers' make: *** [all-common] Error 1 Any words of wisdom? mh -- Martin Hicks || mort@bork.org || PGP/GnuPG: 0x4C7F2BEE plato up 3 days, 15:40, 27 users, load average: 0.10, 0.03, 0.00 Beer: So much more than just a breakfast drink.
