OpenLDAP SHA-1 encryption how?

Dear All,

How and where ALL do I specify that the SHA-1 encryption should be used.
Please tell me all the files (slapd.conf, ldap.conf etc) which needs
modifications. Please specify the details for server as well as for client
configuration. And any other settings. Any URLs regarding this are also
welcome.

A thing to note, I am using CDS. Whether any special settings are required
considering cds?
