There's prior art to learn from- replicated databases aren't new and
neither the problems with them. There are books written on the subject.
Search for "distributed database replication", "database synchronization"
and even "ldap multimaster replication" to find states-of-the-art. Don't
have to create a enw solution out of whole cloth.
