I can't remember where I came accrossed it, Amazon.com perhaps, but I 
believe there is actually a new book comming out in January on 
deployment of LDAP.  I bumped into it while doing some research. 
Hopefully it covers  Database Management for LDAP as well as just 
getting the servers to work.  Anyway, as I recall it was by Mark Wilcox, 
the same guy who wrote Wrox's "Implementing LDAP." Implementing LDAP 
mostly covers NDS though not OpenLDAP and also had a clientside focus 
rather than a serverside focus.  The new book is supposed to focus more 
on OpenLDAP.
