RE: passwd: Authentication token manipulation error

I am using Openldap 2.1.3 and pam_ldap and nss_ldap

I had the same problem with openldap 2.1.2 
I am not sure the problem is with openldap, but might have something to do
with my ldap.conf file.

So, are you using pam_ldap ?
Which openldap , etc ...
