But, if i edit the httpd.conf as

LDAPUserDir public_html
LDAPUserDirDNInfo cn=your-dn,dc=example,dc=com dnpass
LDAPUserDirBaseDN ou=People,dc=example,dc=com

i can't specify the ldap server. Then, i need to use localhost as ldap
server?
