How to store whole text files

Hi

How can i store files in LDAP wich contain all sorts of ANSI/ASCII viewable 
(no binary) characters and tabs (normal text files like configuration files)? 
Especially how can i insert them using the LDIF format without running into 
troubble.

1. Wich Attribute/Syntax may i use? (Printable String?)
2. How do i have to "escape" the LDIF file when adding such an entry ?
