newbie: Unable to add to initial LDAP database
thanks to help from others, the bad data bas been excised and fresh new database is awaiting life:
BUT when I do the following command:
[root@Webby openldap]# ldapadd -x -h localhost -D "cn=root,dc=FAMILY,dc=com" -f base.ldif -w secret
adding new entry "dc=FAMILY,dc=org"
ldap_add: No such object
ldif_record() = 32
This dreaded error comes up, a quick Google search turned up a possibility to need to initialize the database, but the post was of no assistance.
Thanks for your assistance
