As long as its you use LDAP it doesn't matter what the language you use
is. The Java LDAP libraries that are posted on OpenLDAP have the works
with LDAP 2000 certification so its been tested against a bunch of LDAP
servers.
Even though AD hasn't been certified as an LDAP 2000 server, the
libraries have been tested against AD and work. The only problem you'll
find is if you want to update schema. I'm sure the same is true with
JNDI.
