Wildcard Searching Help

Hi,

I am using OpenLDAP 2.x and qmail-ldap.

I want to be able to do wild card searches on a users mailForwardingAddress.

I thought I would need to add this to my slapd.conf file, but when I try to start OpenLDAP it complains about the sub directive.

index		mailForwardingAddress pres,sub,eq

Can someone point out what I am doing wrong please? Do I need to change the schema definition to allow this?
