Query on Schema-extension

Hi,

I am currently working to comeup with an installer for distributing our
product. The installer is basically java based which copies and configures
our files on to the target system. The installer also "Extends" the schema
for the directory server which the end-user points to.

I would like to know if Openldap supports dynamic(through java JNDI API's)
extension of the schema. If so, it would be great if you could give me some
pointers to it.

As of now, my installer successfully extends the directory schema for NDS
and Netscape directory servers using
DirContext.createSubcontext(<name>,<attributes>).
