I have loglevel set in slapd.conf as: loglevel 1
And in #/etc/syslog.conf local4.* /var/log/ldap.log
But still I don't see any logging taking place,. Our server is running on a Unix box Any clues? However if I use -d option I am able to trace the
debug info. I can redirect this trace to a log file as well. As the file gets
really big I am concerned with file size as well. Is there a difference between these 2 options? Which is
better? Jeeva
