our solution is os independent. the ldap config is left untouched too.
a radware wsd is a switching module that provides loadbalancing on osi
layers 4-7.
you simply point all your ldap clients to the wsd, which redirects the
requests to the ldap servers. as far as i can remember, our
configuration keeps track of the open connections to each ldap server
and redirects a request to the ldap server with the least open
connections.
