What does "resouce tempoaraily unavailable" means?

Hello All,
           when I  run following command-
                      ldapsearch -W -L -b <root dn>  '(objectclass=*)
       I'm able to see all records -

                 but when I  run -
                         ldapsearch -W -L -b <root dn>   <some filter>
       It only shows me  result like this -

#
# filter: <some filter>
# requesting: ALL
#

# search result

# numResponses: 1
           Why I'm not able to see   full results, at server end it is
giving a message -
                         resouce tempoaraily unavailable
