Does Openldap support changing the schema programmatically ?

Hi,
I'm trying to use JNDI to add a new attribute to an openldap server (latest
version for Windows NT).

I'm using the example from Sun's JNDI tutorial, but it doesn't work and
the error message seems to imply that this is not supported.

Is this correct ?
