Help with core.schema and binary
I have set op a ldap server using your software.
I am using MSSQL as database and I think I have
created all that need to be in the database.
I have created the "cRLDistributionPoint" in
the database and an attribut for it called "CertificateRevocationList". The
type of this attrib is "Image" in the DB
so that I can keep a binary file....
I have upload a crl file into this field. The file comes from MS Certificate
Server.
When I use normal ASP and try to get this file from the database it works
fine. In
my case the file size is 746 bytes. But if I try getting the same field
using
openldap I get a array of bytes with a length of 2x746=1492
why ???????????????????????????????? is the size 2 timer normal ?
I have tried to modify the core.schema and modified the attribute
"certificateRevocationList"
to syntax "1.3.6.1.4.1466.115.121.1.5". stop the slapd and restart but no
different.
do I need to compile some think before the core.schema works ?
I have tried a lot with out luck. Can you help me ?
