Sorry, I have to disagree.
This statement itself is religious.
Onslaughts like this one arn't serious.

Maybe I'am overlook something, 
but how they did the tests under Linux:

Which database-backend they used for the test ?
Which Filesystem ?
Which Kernel-Version ?
