Ldapsearch not showing the entries
hi,
First of all a big thank u to all for helping me
getting started with ldap.
I have tried the ldapsearch after doing ldapadd.
But it doesn't show me any of the entries i have
added.
Though i have include
access * by * read
in my slapd.conf file.
ldapsearch operation gives me the following result
$ldapsearch -x -b 'dc=ubm,dc=com,dc=edu'
'(objectclass=*)'
version: 2
#
# filter: (objectclass=*)
# requesting: ALL
#
# search result
search: 2
result: 10 Referral
ref: ldap://root.openldap.org
# numResponses: 1
$
Is there anything wrong with the Slapd.conf file?
My slapd.conf file looks this way:-
# $OpenLDAP: pkg/ldap/servers/slapd/slapd.conf,v
1.8.8.4 2000/08/26 17:06:18 kur
