I have a master/slave configuration, and everything works great, except for replication: Jul 18 10:52:49 ldap02 slapd[4980]: conn=1 op=0 BIND dn="CN=MANAGER,O=MYORG,C=DK" method=128 Jul 18 10:52:49 ldap02 slapd[4980]: conn=1 op=0 RESULT tag=97 err=0 text= Jul 18 10:52:52 ldap02 slapd[4980]: conn=1 op=1 RESULT tag=107 err=0 text= Jul 18 10:53:34 ldap02 slapd[4980]: conn=1 op=2 ADD dn="UID=XMAJ,OU=PEOPLE,O=MYORG,C=DK" Jul 18 10:53:34 ldap02 slapd[4980]: is_entry_objectclass("uid=xmaj,ou=People,o=TeliaNet,c=DK", "2.16.840.1.113730.3.2.6") no objectClass attribute After looking through the ml-archives, seaching the web and newsgroups, I've only been able to find references to this problems, but no solutions. From my slapd.conf on the master: # replication directives replogfile /usr/local/openldap/slapd.replog replica host=localhost:9636 binddn="cn=Manager,o=MyOrg,c=DK" bindmethod=simple credentials=secret I have updateref defined on the slave. I also saw something about problems when the binddn is the same as the dn used for updating (on the master?). I run OpenLDAP 2.0.11 on Linux S/390 2.2.19. -- Allan Joergensen (AJ1382-RIPE) - [DW] on the Undernet Homepage: <URL:http://www.nowhere.dk/> NT scales to quad Xeons? Linux scales to S/390. Benchmark that, soft ones. I know karate (and seven other Japanese words).
