Didn't mean to diminuish your work. I think I tried it some
time ago but I had problems. I did turn on that macro. Maybe
there occurred some changes in the code that obsoleted it.
I'm currently working on rewriting the monitor stuff.
I'll submit a skeleton of the (proposed, of course) monitor
backend in a few days (hopefully tomorrow). Stay in tune,
and any help/suggestions are definitely welcome.
I'll post a message on -devel ASAP.
