I'm not sure what you mean. The monitor entry provides some
monitoring data which might or might not be useful for you. Just
examine that yourself by using ldap://myldaphost/CN=MONITOR on your
OpenLDAP 1.2.x box. It is indeed highly vendor-specific and AFAIK
not part of the LDAP standard. It is not implemented in OpenLDAP
2.x.
