performance and compiling

Hi,

I just installed openldap 2.0.11 on solaris 2.8 (2CPU, 1Gig ram), but it
seems it is using the shared db libraries (version: 3.2.9). Is this causing big
performance issues?
I'm asking this because I'm running some benchmarking on openldap using
DirectoryBench and I want to make sure I compiled openldap optimal for
solaris 2.8.
