Subject: OpenLDAP in Solaris 8

Hi,

Has anybody had success in having Solaris 8 user login/authentication work
with OpenLDAP? Could you please give me a sample ldif entry for a user
id?

My configuration is:
OpenLDAP version 2.0.11
Solaris 8 01/01 edition with the latest patches installed

I have tried the following ldif entry:
dn: uid=higugmat,ou=People,dc=testdomain,dc=edu
cn: higugmat
userid: higugmat
uid: higugmat
uidNumber: 110
gidNumber: 100
homeDirectory: /export/home/higugmat
userPassword: {crypt}46KTPMHam0J9Y
gecos: Test User
loginshell: /bin/ksh
objectClass: top
objectClass: account
objectClass: posixAcccount
objectClass: posixShadow

However, when I do an 'ldapadd', I get an error message "ldap_add: Object
class violation" Could somebody please tell me what's wrong?

How do you enable debugging on slapd to generate logs? What values shoud
I supply to the -d option in slapd?

Thanks in advance.

Ernie.
