newbie ldap question
Hi all,
DNs are normally represented in such fashions:
uid=jdoe1,dc=example,dc=com
or
sn=jdoe1,dc=exampl1,dc=com
My question: How do we specify what attributes can be used to represent a
DN? For example, I've used uid and sn in the 2 examples above?
I gather in the schema definition for an object, there is a specifier which
specifies that an attribute can be used to form a DN? What is it?
Thanks,
Ronald
