ldapsearch doubt

Hi,

I'm trying to use OpenLDAP v2.0.7 with cyrus-sasl-1.5.27 and when I try
to run the ldapsearch command I get the following error:

[root@rdnt03 sasl]# ldapsearch -b "o=EvRel" "uid=*" -U malere -v 
ldap_initialize( <DEFAULT> )
SASL/DIGEST-MD5 authentication started
Please enter your password: 
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Unknown error
        additional info: unable to get user's secret

Does anybody have a clue of what's going on ?
