Hello,
I have two installations of OpenLDAP 2.0.7 working as master and slave.
I discovered today that, although all changes in the master ldap are
replicated ok in the slave, password changes are not replicated. I tried
changing password while binding with user dn, and while binding with
root dn. The changes are not replicated. If i add a new user, the user
is replicated ok but with a blank password.
From the logs, i cannot see anything wrong. The master ldap does not
even *try* to replicate the password change. The updatedn is the rootdn
of the slave. If i bind to the slave as root dn using a GUI frontend and
i copy/paste the password hash from the master to the slave, everything
is ok.
Should i do something more than the procedure discussed in 2.0.7 manual
to convince slurpd to propagate password changes to the slave ?
Thanks in advance,
T.
