Help! Invalid Credentials problem

First of all, i'd like to tell you, that i have read the faqs, i i have
also searched at www.openldap.org for this problem, the sugestions i get
from there, doesnt apply to this one.

When i try to login as user teste_ldap( my unique ldap user), i get this
on the maillog:

Mar 15 17:16:58 projecto2 imapd[3318]: imap service init from 10.0.3.4
Mar 15 17:16:58 projecto2 imapd[3318]: pam_ldap: error trying to bind as
user "uid=teste_ldap,ou=People,o=idt.ipp.pt" (Invalid credentials)
Mar 15 17:17:22 projecto2 imapd[3318]: AUTHENTICATE LOGIN failure
host=[10.0.3.4]

I have doublechecked the DN of the user and the password also, but no
luck.

Note: I can see the ldap tree ( throwgh ldapsearch )using the DN and
password of the user.

Please help me, im out of ideas.
