problems with RH 70.

Hi,

Has anyone managed to sucsessfully compile 2.0.7 on RH7 with glibc 2.2-12?
I'm having problems, and am wondering if anyone knows what other packages
needs to be updated (I think I've updated them all).

if someone has the glibc-2.2-9 packages, would you be so kind as to mail
them to me?

Also, I've managed to compile ldap 1.2 but when I try to use

ldapsearch -D 'cn=Manager, o=nu, c=no' -h mailserver.mail.nu.no -s base
'(objectclass=*)'

I get the error:
ldap_bind: Protocol error
        additional info: version not supported

Can anyone give me a clue to what I should do?
