It depends what you want. I'm writing an LDAP back-end for BIND, so
that you use a normal name server, but it uses LDAP instead of zone
files. Have a look at http://www.venaas.no/ldap/bind-sdb/
It's very experimental so far but getting better, and I'm working on
a new schema.
