slapd pid
Hi All,
When I start my ldap server I get 3 processes running. If we can assume that
the process id for those 3 processes are a,b,c then the way they get generated
is as follows
1 is the ppid of a
a is the ppid of b
b is the ppid of c
If I do not stop my server and allow the server to run for somedays I will get
many pid's against slapd. and these pid's.
Could any body tell me why these many processes are running and how they get
generated.
