RE: do you know how to install openldap in linux?
I'm afraid I don't know - I'm CC'ing the openldap-software mailing list in
case someone else does.

Subject: RE: do you know how to install openldap in linux?
Hi,
Now, make test has error in there.
but I tried to run /usr/local/libexec/slapd -f /localdirectory/slapd.conf
it is running and ok.
But I cannot add any start.ldif to there.
dn: o=company,c=fi
o: company
objectclass: o
description: company Directory Management Domain
dn: cn=company testing,o=company,c=fi
cn: company testing
objectclass: organization
but [root@server tools]# ldapadd -D "cn=Manager,o=company,c=fi" -W <
start.ldif
Enter LDAP Password:
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Can't contact LDAP server
do you know why??
Thanks.
HF:)
