inheriting from objectclass...

Hi,
 I have a question regarding objectclass inheritance. If I create an object 
class "A" which, say inherits from organizationalUnit. If an attribute in 
organizationalUnit is defined to be "MAY" can I redefine that same attribute 
to a "MUST" in my inherited objectclass. Is it allowed? Are their any better 
ways to design it if my derived objectclass needs the same attribute to be 
"MUST".
 Responses will be appreciate.
