Multiple values for attributes

Please excuse, and help me with, this hopefully simple question. I've tried, but can't find the answer in the usual places:

I am using OpenLDAP 1.2. I want to define an attribute as allowing multiple values.

None of the schema docs I've found tell me how to do this.

The 1.2 FAQ http://www.openldap.org/faq/data/cache/260.html tells how to define attributes and their syntaxes, but not how to do this. A pointer to the right info is all I need.
