Problems with ldapsearch

Hello,

    I've downloaded OpenLDAP 2.0.0 and I have problems with search
filters. When I search with ldapsearch with a filter like:
    'objectclass=*'  I get the right response, but if I use
'objectclass=s*' there's no response and there are objects  beginning with
s, and the same if I use 'objectclass=*s*'. ¿What's wrong?
