Compiling Net::LDAPapi

Hi,
I'm new to this list and did not find any postings
regarding this issue in the archive.

Trying to compile Net::LDAPapi for use with OpenCA
Perl 5.6 on i586-linux
RedHat 6.2
OpenLDAP 1.2.0 and 1.2.11 tested
Net::LDAPapi 1.42
I used option: 2.  University of Michigan
(option 1 - Netscape renedered "ldap_ssl.h" missing)

Anyone else had the same problem?
Please advice on how to proceed.
