monting LDAP over NFS or GFS

Hi,

Another problem.
I am running a master server from which I mount the data to slave
servers (cause replication is not modifiying properly)
I mount /var/lib/ldap (thats where the db etc is) on slave machines
read-only and run ldap server.

Again if  I make changes on the master server, I dont see the changes on
the slaves.

Eventually, I will run these over GFS (http://www.globalfilesystem.org)
from a shared FC Storage.
I am not sure why it isnt working.

Anyone wants to shed some light on it?
