Query: Extensions in LDAP server for Solaris 8 LDAP support

All,

I've been grappling with Solaris 8, trying to get it working with the
OpenLDAP 2.0 beta and CVS releases, with limited success. It seems that part
of my problems might have been the requirements Solaris places on the LDAP
server:

> simple paged-mode (rfc 2969)
>     OID 1.2.840.113556.1.4.319 simple page mode control type
>     OID 2.16.840.1.113730.3.4.2 simple page mode control value
> virtual list view controls
>     OID 1.2.840.113556.1.4.473 VLV control type
>     OID 2.16.840.1.113730.3.4.9 VLV control value


Either OpenLDAP 2.0 (beta or CVS) doesn't support one of these, *or* I've
got a configuration problem that's preventing them from being used/seen by
the Solaris 8 LDAP bootstrap program.

I'm about to go digging in the source, but if anyone could short-circuit
what's likely to be a time-consuming exercise...?
