ldap authentication
helo, i've been working on gettin ldap to authenticate users via PAM. I've
read many of articles on the matter but still am not getting any luck. i've
copied everything in /usr/doc/pam_ldap-36/pam.d/ into /etc/pam.d/ and have
editted my /etc/nsswitch.conf file and /etc/ldap.conf too...
when i try and search using netscape's address book, it only accepts an
email addy as the uid and then a blank password, however somethings going on
because it only accepts email addresses that are in my ldif...
anyone using PAM to authenticate that could help me out ?
-TIA
josh
