distribution lists, Sendmail 8.10.1, LDAP
Sendmail 8.10 has nice LDAP support built in and a staright forward set of
macros to configure it for LDAP, but it seems I've lost some of the
functionality that the now depracated ldapx macro provided -- namely,
multiple recipients. Sendmail 8.10 implements ldap routing in accorance
with the draft spec draft-lachman-laser-ldap-mail-routing-01 for which the
field mailRoutingAddress is single occurring. Needless to say, I can force
it to be multiple occurring, but sendmail ignores all but the first address
occurrence.
Is it possible to write a macro that can deals with multiple occurrences,
and does anybody have some examples. Unfortunately, though I am very
proficient at building sendmail.cf files with m4 macros and making sendmail
do what I want, when it comes to sendmail macros and rulesets, I'm in way
over my head.
